How to Vet a Business Partner
As a business law attorney, I’ve worked with all kinds of businesses. I’ve worked with startups and companies that have been around for decades. I’ve worked with sole proprietors and companies with dozens of employees. I’ve represented clients spanning from North Carolina to New York and Germany. Their customers have spoken different languages, resided in different countries, and have not always been easy to work with. Consequently, I’ve learned quite a bit about when people work well together and when they don’t.
As it has been said, “if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go with others.” It is my hope that you will always choose to go farther, but that you do it with as few bumps, bruises, and bang-ups as possible.
